Overview
Jaffrey
has six
publicly owned
cemeteries. The
earliest is The
Old Burying
Ground,
behind the
Meetinghouse.
The largest
is Conant
Cemetery,
close to downtown
Jaffrey. Phillips-Heil is in the
western part
of town, off
Fitzwilliam
Road. Cutter
Cemetery,
on Harkness
Road, is at
the east end
of Jaffrey
Center Villiage.
The
Villiage Cemetery,
off Turpike
Road near
the Post Office
is still maintained
and accessible
but is no
longer accepting
burials. The
tiny Smallpox
Cemetery is
on a hill-top
above Route
202. The one
private cemetery
in Jaffrey
is St. Patrick
Cemetery on
Route 202
at Hillcrest
Road.
