This map of Jaffrey accompanied Daniel B. Cutter's History of the Town of Jaffrey, New Hampshire…1749-1880 which appeared in 1881. There's no indication who the cartographer was which is unfortunate as the map contains some useful information: The lots and ranges are given along the margins; the 13 school districts are delineated and the schoolhouses located; the cemeteries (including the Small Pox Cemetery) are located; and roads and homesteads are shown as well. The railroad, the major ponds and lakes and the Contoocook River are named.
